Joseph Cradick

Junior Labour writer

I am a graduate of the University of Exeter where I studied politics, philosophy and economics. I used this fantastic opportunity to pursue my deepest interests in the subjects of moral philosophy and political psychology. Beyond pushing any agenda I am interested in the differences between right and left wing attitudes and what it takes to persuade people, what changes their mind. This is perhaps because of the vicissitudes of my own political views.

In British politics I am staunchly Labour because they are the only party which genuinely wants to improve the lot of the least well off in society. In an economy with a rampant expansion of inequality Labour’s approach to policy is the only approach that is founded on solid moral footing and long-term economic stability.

I am very excited to have been accepted to write on POI, I hope I can contribute to what is already a very high quality debating platform.
